Abstract
Mailing List represent interactive discussion group between consumer of internet with sending message to a server Mailing List and propagated to entire user which enlist. In the Mailing List there are certain analogical discussion like equation of enthusiasm, profession, institute etc. In this time Mailing List become one of the media learn, promotion medium, and forum interactive very effective mass in the internet. By delivering message to Mailing List server, user can enquire and share knowledge and subscribe to certain information. In developing a Mailing List server with linux, there are installation packages software supporting activity of server mail and Mailing List server. In this case, used by postfix as MTA ( Mail Transfer Agent) and Mailman as application for the Mailing List server. Postfix represent MTA which used many now, besides easy to in installation, easy postfix to integrate with other application like Mailman. Mailman is a application package software which walk above linux, used to develop Mailing List Server.
