Abstract

Egg parasitoid of brown planthoppers are particularly important natural enemies because of their effectiveness as agents of biological control. The objective of this research to study diversity and biology reproduction egg parasitoid of brown planthoppers in rice field at Kayu Tanduk and Sungai Sapih landscape. Egg parasitoid were sampled using four methodes (trapping, farmcop, sweep net, and yellow pan trap). Indeces of spescies richness, evenness, and diversity were applied to analyze the data. Results indicated that there were 158 speciment consist of 3 family and 8 species of egg parasitoid brown planthoppers in rice fields at Kayu Tanduk and Sungai Sapih landscape. Species richness and diversity were higher in Sungai sapih landscape than Kayu Tanduk landscape. Keyword : Biodiversity, Brown planthopper, Nillaparvata lugens, Agricultural landscape
