Latar Belakang: Otitis media tuberkulosis merupakan kasus yang jarang sekitar 0,04% dari kasus otitis media supuratif
kronik sehingga diagnosis sering terlambat. Otitis media tuberkulosis ditandai dengan otore yang persisten, gangguan
pendengaran yang hebat, perforasi multipel membran timpani, jaringan granulasi yang banyak. Penanganan dilakukan dengan
pengobatan anti tuberkulosis. Pembedahan diperlukan pada kasus untuk membuang sekuester dan meningkatkan drainase.
Tujuan: Mempresentasikan gambaran klinik, diagnosis, dan penatalaksanaan otitis media tuberkulosis. Kasus: Satu kasus otitis
media tuberkulosis pada seorang anak laki-laki usia 11 tahun. Penatalaksanaan: Pembedahan dan pengobatan antituberkulosis.
Kesimpulan: Tingkat kecurigaan klinis yang tinggi diperlukan untuk diagnosis dini dan terapi anti tuberkulosis harus dimulai
sesegera mungkin untuk mencegah komplikasi.

Abstract
Background: Tuberculous occurs in less than 0,04% of chronic suppurative otitis media cases and usually contribute to late
diagnosis. Tuberculous otitis media was characterized by painless otorrhoea, severe hearing loss, multiple perforations of the
tympanic membrane and subsequent appearance of profuse granulation tissue. Anti tubercular therapy is prescribed. Surgery may
be required in some cases to remove sequester and improve drainage. Purposes : To present the clinical and diagnostic finding along
with the management perfomed in a case tuberculous otitis media. Case : A case of tuberculous otitis media in 11th years old boy was
reported. Management: Includes radical mastoidectomy and antituberculous therapy. Conclusion: A high level of clinical suspicius is
needed for early diagnosis and antituberculous therapy should be started as soon as possible to prevent complication.
