Abstract

This research shows that increaseing of population account and do the law that can be ulayat land certificated along with city development Ihat causes the smash ownership .system and using ulayat land in Minangkabau system of urban matrilineal kins. In this conditions rising divergence and strained siluation between individu who is not suit with function of kins tie. C'hanging ownership .structure and using ulayat land, it is not conflict with constitution of custom, so function of matrilineal kins constants strong in Minangkabau matrilineal. The functional structurally, system of Minangkabau matrilineal relatives can still held out because the changing happens through social diferenciation. The un-condition balance will happen in hight and low of frequency social interaction in exlended .family. The struggle to defend life through collecting of harato pusako rendah inherited competition between in nuclear .family. It's always folowed with competition increase, adaptation process with agreeme it values before and it can go on in the form of new structural integration through distribution happening nature resources and social from the nuclear .family is succesfull that can be used by the extended family.
