DESKRIPSI MATA KULIAH:
This course is designed for senior students to equip them with the knowledge and ability to conduct a research and to write a research proposal on literary studies.

KOMPETENSI: 
After taking this subject, students will… 
  1. Know various kinds of literary genres and be able to identify the characteristics of each genre. 
  2. Know how to write a research proposal on literary studies from finding a topic, narrowing the topic, collecting data by applying library research methods, and composing a complete research proposal. 
  3. Present their proposals in front of the class.

NORMA AKADEMIK :
- Kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai jadwal resmi, toleransi keterlambatan 15 menit.
- Selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung HP dimatikan.
- Pengumpulan tugas ditetapkan sesuai jadwal dan dilakukan sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Bagi yang  terlambat nilai hanya 75 %nya, dan bila terlambat 1 hari mendapat nilai hanya 50%nya, lebih dari satu hari mendapat nilai 0%.
- Tugas yang merupakan plagiat, atau pengkutipan tanpa aturan penulisan dianggap tidak lulus.
- Aturan jumlah minimal presensi dalam pembelajaran tetap diberlakukan, termasuk aturan cara berpakaian atau bersepatu.

TUGAS
1. TUJUAN TUGAS               : Memberikan kemampuan kepada mahasiswa untuk menulis laporan dan proposal

2. URAIAN TUGAS               : Membuat proposal penelitian bidang kajian sastra dengan memperhatikan kaidah
                                                  penulisan ilmiah yang dipakai di jurusan sastra Inggris
3. KRITERIA PENILAIAN   : Tata bahasa, isi, presentasi, dan keaktifan selama presentasi
