Rahmi Hanifa, 07193024, skripsi dengan judul Pengaruh Sosialisasi Politik Terhadap Orientasi Politik Pemilih (Studi Terhadap Guru dan Dosen di Kota Padang). Sebagai Pembimbing I Dr. Sri Zulchairiyah, MA dan Pembimbing II Irawati, S.Ip. Skripsi ini terdiri dari 103 halaman dengan 15 referensi buku, 4 skripsi, 4 tesis, 1 Jurnal, 1 Laporan Pilkada Gubernur, dan 6 situs internet. Skripsi ini ingin menjelaskan bagaimana pengaruh sosialisasi politik melalui media massa dan sosialisasi politik melalui pekerjaan terhadap orientasi politik pemilih guru dan dosen di Kota Padang. Proses sosialisasi politik akan mempengaruhi cara pandang dan penilaian atas aspek-aspek kehidupan politik seseorang. Melalui proses sosialisasi politik inilah para anggota masyarakat memperoleh sikap dan orientasi terhadap kehidupan politik yang berlangsung dalam masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara agen-agen sosialisasi politik terhadap orientasi politik seseorang, dimana penelitian ini menggunakan agen-agen sosialisasi politik media massa dan sosialisasi politik melalui pekerjaan. Untuk dapat memperoleh data, peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dimana populasinya adalah guru dan dosen di Kota Padang yaitu sebanyak 2.735 orang. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala ordinal, dengan demikian maka uji hipotesisnya menggunakan uji Kendall Tau. Responden dipilih dengan teknik Stratified Random Sampling dengan jumlah 90 orang responden. Selanjutnya dalam analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan program komputer SPSS 15.0. Dari penganalisaan Kendall Tau, peneliti menemukan bahwa sosialisasi politik melalui media massa dan sosialisasi melalui pekerjaan mempengaruhi orientasi politik guru dan dosen di Kota Padang. Dari hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan program komputer SPSS ini dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan sosialisasi politik melalui pekerjaan (X1) dengan orientasi politik guru dan dosen (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi 0,297; terdapat hubungan antara sosialisasi politik melalui media massa (X2) dengan orientasi politik guru dan dosen (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi 0,239. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel sosialisasi politik melalui pekerjaan dan media massa mempunyai pengaruh terhadap orientasi politik guru dan dosen.

Rahmi Hanifa, 07193024, This thesis explained how influence of political socialization through the mass media and political socialization through work on the political orientation of voters teachers and lecturers in the city of Padang. Political socialization process will affect the outlook and assessment of aspects of one's political life. Through this process of political socialization the members of the public getting the attitude and orientation in political life that took place in the community. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of the agents of political socialization of one's political orientation, where the research using the agents of political socialization of mass media and political socialization of work. To search the data used a quantitative approach that is survey method by using this type of research eksplanatory. In order to obtain the data, researchers conducted using data collection of questionnaires, where the population is a teacher and lecturer at the Padang as many as 2735 people. Scale used is ordinal scale, and thus test the hypothesis using the Kendall Tau test. Respondents were selected by Stratified Random Sampling technique with a number of 90 respondents. Furthermore the data analysis performed using SPSS 15.0 computer program. From Kendall Tau analysis, researchers found that the political socialization through the mass media and socialization through work affects the political orientations of teachers and lecturers in the city of Padang. From the results of research using SPSS computer program can be known that there is a relationship of political socialization through work (X1) with the political orientation of teachers and lecturers (Y) with a correlation coefficient of 0.297; there is a relationship between political socialization through the mass media (X2) with the political orientation of teachers and lecturer (Y) with a correlation coefficient of 0.239. This suggests that the two variables of political socialization through work and mass media have an influence on the political orientation of teachers and lecturers.
