Abstract

Penelitian mengenai analisis vegetasi gulma pada pertanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) di lahan kering dan lahan sawah di Malampah Kabupaten Pasaman telah dilakukan dari bulan April sampai Juni 2011 dengan metoda kuadrat. Peletakan plot dilakukan secara purposive sampling sebanyak 15 plot pada masing-masing lahan yang berukuran 1 x 1 m. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Nagari Malampah kecamatan Tigo Nagari Kabupaten Pasaman dan dilanjutkan di Laboratorium Ekologi dan Herbarium, Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Andalas Padang. Dari hasil penelitian komposisi gulma pada kedua pertanaman terdiri dari 16 famili, 35 genus dan 45 spesies dengan jumlah total 12175 individu gulma di lahan kering dan 5446 individu di lahan sawah. Borreria alata mendominasi pertanaman jagung di lahan kering sebanyak 6.680 individu (SDR 40,03%), sedangkan Cuphea carthagenensis mendominasi pertanaman jagung di lahan sawah sebanyak 1815 individu (SDR 19,74%). Indeks keanekaragaman gulma di lahan kering 2,38 dan di lahan sawah 2,72, nilai indeks keanekaragaman tersebut tergolong sedang. Indeks kesamaan gulma dari kedua lahan pertanaman tersebut rendah dengan nilai sebesar 20%. ABSTRACT The research was about vegetation analysis of weed in planting corn (Zea mays L.) at dry farming and rice field farm in Malampah, Pasaman District have been conducted from April to June 2011 by using quadrat method. The plot taken by purposive sampling consist 15 plot in each land with had 1 x 1 m of meansure. The research was conducted in Malampah, Tigo Nagari Sub-district, Pasaman District and then it was continued in Ecology Laboratory and Herbarium, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Andalas University, Padang. The result of these research showed that weed composition from both land composed by 16 families, 35 genus, and 45 species with 12175 individuals in drylan and 5446 individuals in wetland. Borreria alata dominated in dryland planting corn with 6680 individuals (SDR 40.03%), whereas Cuphea carthagenensis dominated in wetland planting corn with 1.815 individuals (SDR 19.74%). Index diversity of weed was H’ = 2.38 in dryland and H’ = 2.72 in wetland, that categorized as the medium diversity. Index similarities of weed from both land was low with a value 20%.
