Abstract

PENGARUH LAMA PENYIMPANAN SEMEN BEKU TERHADAP MOTILITAS, PERSENTASE HIDUP DAN ABNORMALITAS SPERMATOZOA PRODUKSI BALAI INSEMINASI BUATAN SINGOSARI YANG ADA DI POS – POS IB KOTA PADANG Syahrudi, di bawah bimbingan Prof. Dr. Ir. Jaswandi, MS Program Studi Produksi Ternak Jurusan Produksi Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Andalas, Padang, 2012 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama penyimpanan semen beku terhadap motilitas, persentase hidup dan abnormalitas spermatozoa. Penelitian ini menggunakan semen beku produksi Balai Inseminasi Buatan Singosari yang tersimpan di pos-pos IB Kota Padang sebanyak 10 sampel ministraw. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Peubah yang diamati motilitas, persentase hidup dan abnormalitas spermatozoa. Data diaolah secara statistika dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear terhadap motilitas, persentase hidup dan abnormalitas spermatozoa semen beku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rataan motilitas (46% ± 8.43%), persentase hidup (78.10% ± 6.02%) dan abnormalitas (18.50% ± 7.10%). Dari uji statistika menunjukkan bahwa lama penyimpanan semen beku tidak berpengaruh terhadap motilitas, persentase hidup dan abnormalitas spermatozoa. This study using frozen semen production Singosari Artificial Insemination Center of the items stored in Padang IB ministraw many as 10 samples. Methods This study uses survey methods. Motility observed variables, the percentage of live and abnormal spermatozoa. Diaolah the statistical data using linear regression analysis of motility, percentage of live and abnormal spermatozoa frozen semen. The results showed the average motility (46% ± 8:43), the percentage of life (78.10% ± 6:02) and abnormalities (18:50% ± 7.10). Of the test statistics indicate that the storage time of frozen semen had no effect on motility, percentage of live and abnormal spermatozoa.
