vi INTISARI PRODUKSI BIOGAS DARI LIMBAH CAIR TAHU DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN STARTER KOTORAN KUDA Oleh: Ayu Suci Lestari (0910413105) Dr.Zulkarnain Chaidir* Olly Norita Tetra, M.Si** Pembimbing I* Pembimbing II** Pada penelitian ini, limbah cair pabrik tahu diteliti untuk diolah menjadi biogas yang dicampur dengan kotoran kuda sebagai starter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi kotoran kuda dan limbah cair tahu yang digunakan untuk produksi biogas. Percobaan dilakukan dengan memvariasikan campuran KK:LCT 50%:50%, KK:LCT 60%:40%, KK:LCT 70%:30%),KK:LCT 80%:20%, dari variasi komposisi ini diperoleh rasio C/N berturut-turut 19,06; 28,06; 42,46; 73,06. Pengukuran volume biogas dilakukan setiap hari. Produksi biogas optimum didapatkan pada perbandingan KK:LCT 60%:40% yaitu 19018,4 mL. Pengukuran kandungan metana dilakukan setelah pemurnian dengan cara absorbsi menggunakan NaOH 0,5 M didapatkan kadar optimum metana yaitu sebesar 69,17%. Sedangkan % total solid (TS) didapatkan untuk campuran awal dan slurry berturut-turut sebesar 4,18% dan 12,91% sedangkan untuk % volatile solid (VS) didapatkan berturut-turut sebesar 57,59% dan 59,30%. This research was aimed to determine the effect of the composition of horse feces and liquid waste of tofu that was used for the production of biogas. The experiments were performed by variation the mixed KK : LCT 50 % : 50 % , KK : LCT 60 % : 40%, KK:LCT 70 %:30 % , KK : LCT 80 % :20 %, the variation in composition of the obtained ratio C/N 19,06 ; 28.06 ; 42.46 ; 73.06. The measurement of biogas volumehas been done everyday. The Optimum of biogas production obtained in comparison KK : LCT 60 %:40 % is 19018.4 mL. Methane content measurements performed after purification by absorption using 0.5 M NaOH obtained optimum levels of methane is 69.17 %. While % total solids (TS) obtained for the initial mixture and slurry, respectively for 4.18% and 12,91%,while for % volatile solids (VS) obtained respectively 57,59% and 59,30%.
