Abstract
This research investigated the immune stimulation affect of ethanol extract of ciplukan (
Physalis angulata
L.) based on its affect on macrophages activities and capacities, leukocytes count, and relative weights of lymph. Twenty female mice were divided into 4 equal groups, the first control group (I) received Na CMC 0,5%, group II, III, IV received 100, 300, 500 mg ethanol extract/Kg BW which were administered orally for 7 days. On 8

day, the leukocyte cells were counted, suspension of
Staphylococcus aureus
(SA) were injected intraperitoneally and then macrophages activities and capacities were counted, the weight of lymph was also measured. Result: at dose 100, 300, 500 mg ethanol extract of ciplukan/Kg BW was significantly affected the total of leukocytes (P<0,05), the macrophages activities and capacities and the relative weights of lymph was significantly affected (P<0,05).
