Abstract

Multiresidue pestisides content viz., imidachlopride, profenophos and deltamethrine in chili pepper have been separated on ODS C18 column (Shimpack CIC ODS, 150 x 4,6 mm) and detected using high performance liquid chromatography at 270 nm. Multiresidue pestisides had been well separated in 18 min., using acetonitril/water (60:40, v/v) as an eluent. The retention time of each component are 3, 6.2 and 17.1 min for imidachlopride, profenophos and deltamethrine, respectively. The detection limit of the present method ranging from 0.39 mg/L to 0.41 mg/L.
