Abstract

The experiment about bioferlizer as a product of decomposer of several organic waste has been carried out at the Soil Laboratory and Pest and Disease Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture Andalas University from March to August 2007. The goal of the experiment is to utilize organic waste as biofertilizer. The experiment was a two-way factorial in a Completely Randomised Design with 3 replicates. The first factors was the type of organic waste (empty bunch palm oil/TKKS, paddy straw/JP, city waste/SK, and tofu waste/AT), and the second factor was the type of decomposers (Lumbricus rubellus, and Trichoderma harzianum). Result showed that the content of essential nutrients and micro element from the empty bunch palm oil treatment was higher than of other treatments. The best biofertilizers was faound from the empty bunch palm oil with T. harzianum as as decomposer and tofu waste with L. rubellus as a decomposer.
