Abstract

The studied of surface soil insects in the forest, shrubs and shifting cultiivation in Bukit Pinang-pinang PadAng show that they composition were different. They density in the forest was higher then in shrubs and shifting area and the relative density of Collembola and Coleoptera also higher in the forest, but in the shifting area and shrubs the higher were Hymenoptera and Coleoptera.
