Abstract

Activity of devotion of society [in] Sub-District of Koto Pulai conducted to 3 farmer group ( Deep Hollow of Kapuh, Basung Agree II and Melati). Third [of] the farmer group instructed to do inwrought farming between rice field paddy and beef cattle livestock effort. One of its activity form is exploiting of paddy hay for the pakan of livestock. Technological the used is ferment to paddy hay by using probion as upgrade process harsh fibre component degradasi [of] paddy hay so that will be more is easy to digested by livestock. Process fermenatsi conducted in 2 phase that is ferment process during 21 draining process and day / depository. Activity of devotion in the form of counselling about exploiting of very attractive hay of farmer enthusiasm to try [ in ranch sector to add earnings of family besides effort rice field paddy Participation and group member motivation of petani-ternak in following network activity of high devotion enough, because during the time at farmer group exist in sub-district of this Koto Pulai have never been performed by construction related to technical aspect and management conservancy of beef cattle livestock. For development target of which wish in activity of this devotion [is] 1) Change attitude and behavior of farmer / breeder of traditional pattern is flange to adjusment of technology 2) Improving knowledge and skill of breeder about for furthermore development, construction better continue to be doneso that this activity can be seen by its result.
