Abstract

The problem experienced in the field was the shortage of the interest of the student in the BAM subject in the school. One of the causes was the lack of the variation and the innovation carried out in this teaching so as to affect the student to understand the course taught. Therefore, the innovation and the variation were needed in teaching BAM. One of them that could be carried out is using the audio visual media in teaching material like traditional art, forms of the traditional ceremony, and the game of the people. This material was taken because the form of traditional art, forms of the traditional ceremony, and the folk-game were very rare to found in the community, moreover in urban areas, so it was difficult to explain to the student when teaching this material. Using the audio visual media, the student has at once understood the form of traditional art, forms of the traditional ceremony, and the game of the people.
