Abstract

The emerging new health cases such as HIV/AIDS nowadays has become a real threatening for everyone include the health team in hospital and community. Based on research conducted by Malini and Susanti (2008), it showed the description of knowledge, behaviour and attitudes of health team in hospital are good enough. This can be happened since there was a maximum effort from the hospital in socializing the universal precaution. However, it does not happen for the health team in community, thus a socialization program about the importance application for universal precaution is needed. The socialization program conducted in Puskesmas Nanggalo with 38 people consists of nurses and health team, midwifery and student. This program also suply some booklet in order to maximize the information gathered. It is suggested that this kind of program should be continued in the future within involving the Dinas Kesehatan, thus Dinas Kesehatan can provide more complete resources toward the application of universal precaution.
