Abstract

Analgesics potency of tablets containing acetylsalycylic acid or dipyron as an active constituent, marketted in generic and proprietary names, has been evaluated invivo onmice. The methodused was vnithing test. The mice were induced to writhe by acetic acid atadose of ?fi0mgfi<g Body weight given intraperitoneally as solution in saline solution. The tested &ugs were glven orally as suspension containing of tVo tylose. The andesics potency of the evaluated &ugs were measured as the Voof protection on the number of unithes each e4perimental animal performed during 120 minutes of observation. It was found that for the tablets of the same active compound but differed in its marketted name, their analgesics potencies were comparable.
