Abstract

Cassava and sweet potato are source of Carbohydrate which can be made for alternative commodity to change of rise. One of the area produce sweet potato in Kabupaten Tanah Datar is Nagari Sawah Tangah. The purpose dedication activity to improve value in use and edible tuber image, helping goverment to improve skill of farmer group in implementation product diversivication and improve earnings of family. A training is given in Pedagogi methode, with discourse, demonstration and discuss. The tool demonstration is material uncooked, instrumentation to making product and finished product. The team is engage participant for active in processing product. The end to do evaluation about obtained science. The training activity on August 8st 2009 in Wali Nagari office of Nagari Sawah Tangah Kabupaten Tanah Datar, with 25 participant. The summery is participant have know about product from edible tuber, but they are have not science or skill to production procedure. Furthermore, according quitioner the participant is interest to attempt processing of product which edible tuber material, and even for entrepreneur.
