Abstract

The effect of chinaberry seed kernel extract (Melia azedarach L.) on molting Epilachna vigintioctopunctata F. has been studied in laboratory by using feeding method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) in Factorial. The result of this study show that treatment with extract of chinaberry seed kernel continuously in concentration 5, 10, 20 and 40%,no pupae formed, stadia of third larvae on 4-10 days and the weight of fourth larvae decreased. On other hand treatment on once time only caused dead to larvae, and pupae formed less than 50%.
