Abstract
Precipitated calsium carbonate (PPC) is limestone product that their processing can be prepared by few chemical process steps. Formation of PCC from raw with material carbonation temperature 40ºC has found good chemical composition and physical properties. The result of XRF analysis showed that chemical composition at slacking temperature 40ºC was CaO 55,90 %, SiO2 0,00 %, Al2O3 0,00 %, Fe2O3 0,00 %, MgO 0,00 %, LOI 43,90 %. Physical properties of PCC such as whiteness, brightness, particle size and surface area were 87,6 %, 94,0 %, 3,42 µm and 4,07 µm/g respectively. Analysis XRD showed that the crystalline PCC in calcite form with miller index 104 at 20 with value 29,385º. SEM analysis show crystalline PCC like aragonite
