Abstract

The in-vivo effect of penetration enhances l0olo etltanol, 2 and 5% dimethyl sulfoxide, 5 and 10% ethyl acetate, a mixture of 5% ethanol and l0% ethyl acetate on transdermal absorption of diclofenac dietlrylammonium in hydroxypropyl methylcellulose aquaeous gel had been studied. The in-vivo penetration study was carried out using patch test on six New Zealand strain rabbits. Serum diclofenac level was determined by high performance liquid cltromatography. The result shorved that 10% ethyl acetate enhanced thc transdermal d iclofcnac dicthylamtuottiutu absorpt ion. Kelrvords : penetratuion, absorption, diclofenac diethylammouium
