Abstract

The objective of the experiment is to determine the growth regulation factor is producted by Trichoderma harzianum and the best organic solvent for exraction. The organic solvents were used : n-butanol, ethyl acetat and chloroform. Every extracts was tested its plant growth regulating factor on Nilam in vitro by using MS medium The experimental design used was the Factorial in Completely Randomized Design. The first factor was kind of ectracts : n-butanol, ethyl acetate, and chloroform. The second factors was the ectract concentra- tions : 0, 60, 120, ,180, dan 180 mg/l medium. Variables observed were: the plant high, number of nodus, number of leaves and number of buds. The result of in vitro by applying every extracts into MS medium indicaterd that applying of ethyl acetat ectract showed the best growth of Nilam explant However, applying butanol and chloroform ecracts caused the explant not growing. Treatment without extract (control) only caused callus formation
