Abstract

Pandanus is an industrial crop with high economic value, have a good prospect and potential to develope in future. It is ussually propagated in generative using the seed. But this methode spend a long time. It must find other alternative to produce the material propagation in good quality, great quantity and quickly. One of the alternative is tissue culture mefhode. The reasearch studies about combination of aucsin and citocinin plant growth regulator contentration that exactly support growth of pandanus explantrng in vitro culture. The reasearch was conducted in Comppletly Randomiz,ed l)esign (CRD), consisted the cornbination of aucsin and citocinin plant growth, i.e. : 0,50 ppm NAA + 1 ,7 5 ppm BAP, 0,50 ppm NAA + 3.00 ppm BAP,0,25 ppm NAA + 0,10 ppm Kinetin + 1,75 ppm BAP, 0,50 ppm NAA + 0,10 ppm Kinetin + 3.00 ppm BAP, and 1,00 ppm 2.4-D + 1.00 ppm NAA + 25% Coconut water. Result indicated that combination of plant growth regulator contentration 0.5 ppm NAA + 0,1 ppm kinetin + 3,0 ppm BAP shown the best result to,calius regeneration, in which in this treatment explant forrned shootlet and plntlet in great percentage among the treatments Keywords : Pandanus, Plant Growth Regulator, In Vitro
