Abstract
Regeneration of coPPer ion which was consentrated on activated carbon has been carried out using several kinds of acid. 3 mL of 10 ppm copper solution was flowing into a micro colomn (tS cm length, 1,0 cm width) packed with activated carbon. The copper ion was than eiuted with Hydrocloric Acid, Nitric Acid and Sulphuric Acid ar differen consentrations. The consentration of copper ion has b.en meazured with Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. In result of activated carbon the efficien cy of elution were 6.70/o,3.7o/o, 102.9Yo and 44.3o/o when the copper ion was eluted with HCI 0.6 M, HNOr 0.6 M, H2SO{ 0.6 M and mixed HCI 0.6 M and HNOr 0.6 M (1:1), respectively. Th" m.ihod was succesfully applied to copper determination in narural water sampel.
