Abstract

Two active larvacidal compounds (AC-H221) and (AC-H32) have been isolated from the n-hexane fraction of the marine sponge Axinela carteri Dendy., using bioassay guided by “The Yellow fever Mosquito Larvae Microtiter Plate Assay” method. Isolation and purification of the compounds were done by chromatography method followed by recrystalization.
