Abstract

An experimental study has been done in rats to verify the inflammatory activity of Curcuma domestica Val. ethanolic extract. About 25 rats were grouped randomly into 5 groups of animals. The experiment was conducted in the following manners. As a control group (Group X) were fed with 1 ml/100g body weight of (100, 250, 500 and 1000) mg/kg body weight suspension of extract. One hour later, to induce the inflammatory, all rats were injected with 0.2 ml of 1 % caragen suspension intracutan.
