Abstract

The objectives of this research were to investigate the effects of Molibdenum on the formation of nodule, growth and yield of soybean which were growth on Ultisols. The experiment was conducted at Jln. Ir. H. Juanda RT. 31 Mayang Ujung in Jambi and was designed in randomized complete block (RCB) design with 6 level of Mo dosages : 0 g/ha, 50 g/ha, 100 g/ha, 150 g/ha, 200 g/ha,250 g/ha and 300 g/ha with four replications respectively.The pa- rameters being observed were the number of nodule, the percentage of effective nodule, the height and the yield of soybean. The data were analyzed by using ANOVA and DMRT. The result showed that spraying Mo on soybean plant could significantly increase the height of soybean plant, number of nodule, percentage of effective nodule and yield with an optimum Mo dosages was 100-150 g/ha.
