Abstract

Research was conducted at Pest and Disease laboratory, Balitjas from .Ianuary to April 1997. The objective of the research wRs to test the resistance at 40 varieties/lines to insect pest. Treatments were arranged in randomized completely design with five replications.Result indicated that of 40 varieties/lines tested, there were 6 varieties/lines which indicate moderately low infestation( 2A%). Low population both Sitophilus sp and Corcyra found in the variety/lines of Mandau, ICSV 94004,ICSV 93073, SDSL 89574, ICSH 110, and Selayar 2.
