Abstract

The study about the effect of buthanolic and ethilic acetic lractions of Se/agrtella plana Hieron plants abilitf in shortening blood freezins tinre of the rvhite rnale mice has been done. The doses ur.d for these tr.vo fractions are 10.30. i00 and 300 mgikg of the bodl'rveight. The etfect is observed on l',.7'i'- 1'1'r'. 21" day'b1'usin-e the Curting Tail tvtetnoa. As the.oinpariion. this experiment used vitamin K with the do-se 0.026 trrsi20or of the bodf ii'eight. The result indicates that these t1,o fractions have the abilitl in shor-tening the blood freezing tirne fbr all doses (10.30.100.and 30Orngikg BW) and observation tintes. Horvever, the buthanolic fraction has lnore eft-ect than ethil acetic.
