Abstract
This article is based on the research on young married couples in Padang city. The research focused on the intelectual exploration of married couples who practice family planning. The article discusses different level of knowledge about health of sexual reproduction. Some results of the research show that level of knowledge among fertiled married couples (Pasangan Usia Subur) is commonly good enough in dealing with the implementatian of family planning programm in Indonesia. Meanwhile. their knowledge on the purpose of family planning is still limited. Those married couple don't understand demographical reasons of family planning. birth range. and family welfare. Level of knowldge abaut health of sexuaf reproduction among fertile young couples is basically different. This difference is influenced by their status either "married" or "unmarried".
