Abstract

As far as the Minangkabau concerned, human resource development has been one of the most important aspect in cuttural ideas for many years. This development is, however, not really significant in practice in the current time. There are some crucial problems among the Minangkabau in dealing with the acquisition process of such cuttuitfdeas. In general, the Minangkabau are well known dynamic. culturat orieniation among the new generation Minangkabau is changing as a resurt of such dynamics. Quatity of eduaiation is noticei going lower- than before. Religious princlPles are partly not an impotrtanf blsis of behavior any more' This article gives sotne stimutating ideas of how the human resource development among the Minangkabau are facing cruciar problem ideally, such development couti concern with economic importace and cultural importance at the same time. practically, the Minangkabau dear with duar development in putting these both importances- tn the light of this discource, fhis articte drscusses interacting variabres of economy, culture and hum", aiieiopment.
