Abstract

This article explains the phenomena of cruelty in the household context (or KDRT). As far as data concern, the KDRT is still undercover to be discussed. lt seems that the KDRT becomes closed matter and taboo for open discussion. Based on the research, it is showed that the KDRT is a serious problem but that not openly be discussed in public sphere. The KDRT brings about physical as well as psychological hurts therefore it should be understood as part of social problem. This article also proposes the potential regulation to overcome the KDRT.
