Abstract

Tourism is one of the media that can influence cultural changing, at least the changing ones of the culture elements happened. The attention of Anthropology to the tourism will be seen as something that connected with public attention in the contact of culture and socio-cultural change. Tourism will be seen as the agent of the cultural contact and directly or indirectly, it is as the cause of the changing, especially in the development countries, including Indonesia. The research of Anthropology about tourism has increased, the same as the arising socio-cultural and economic problems in tourism. In order to fulfil anthropology research, there are some groups who have to study about tourism. Each group shows a special approach about tourism, they are advocacy, cautionary and adaptacy.
