Abstract
Community development is a program that applied by corporate as a one of aspect of corporate social responsibility. This afticle explain what the concept of community development and also explain many concepts, which are belong to the community development concepl such as community, communitas, corporate social responsibility and also how the community development concept was born and used by all of companies as a compulsory action. Applying community development in Indonesia has to looking at types of civilizations in Indonesia as a plural socrety, such as hunter and gatherer, slash and burneQ pastoral, cultivation, cultivation with irrigation and industry. Because of that, many Upes of community development models have to applied depend on the Wpe of society.
