Abstract

This afticle disscuss about role of wornen in politic t'n fndonesfa and possiblities to reconstruction that role. General believe that women has central role in history of national struggle, but that role had ellt'rnaneted by the studies that conducted by social reserachers had tenC male bias, The reconstruction process will be barried by objective conditions of women rn Indonesia that they complex and heterogenous in economic, educational anC social class, etnic etc. The character asassination by orde baru regime had negative impacts to women and women organization.Then patriarch culture, gender ideology and values push women ta restrict by herself to participate in political field.
