Abstract

An experiment was conducted to evaluate the pharmaco dynamic activities of ethanolic-extracts of the leave s of Erythina orientalis Linn. by using Hippocratic screening procedure on white male mice. The pharmacodynamic activities were classified from various response parameters and scored according to the method applied and statisticaly analyzed. it was found that the screened extract had CNS deppressani, muscle: relevant, parasymphatolytic and symphatomiraetic activities.It was also found its effect on parasymphatetic nerve. The intensity of effect increased with dose at p = 0,05.
