Abstract

Generally speaking, today in the informal sector (pedagang kaki lima) do not believe that the policy of the Padang City Government contribute positivity to their income. In their understanding, the city government interest is limited to create order in the market place by ways offorce, and to gain locally derived income (PAD) from the market place. Without protecting the interest of traders in the informal sector. The Padang city government should have consistant policies that are infavour of the informal traders.
