Abstract

This research analyzes change and continuity of Minangkabau culture in the Fleamarket. The method used in collecting data is qualitative, in which the researcher observed and interviewed informants. This study concludes that change of Minangkabau culture in the -flea market took was in the redefinition of the flea market meaning, the reconstruction of secondhand goods, and using leisure activity. While the continuity in the Minangkabau culture wos in bargaining and self image of "rancak di labuah".
