Abstract
Anticonvulsion effect of "phsycotic spice orjamu" has been tested on induced-convulsion mice. Results showed that the jamu tested were able to Protect mice. from convulsion induced with amphetamin (100 mg/kg body weight) and enhanced the surviving capability of 75% treated mice more than 24 hours after treatment. However, there is no such protection after being induced with 2 mg/kg body weight strichnin and 50 mg/kg body weight cardiazol.
