Abstract

The development of layer small enterprise is the addition of economies scale which need quite relatively big capital. To overcome the capital barrier, there are some financing alternatives can be used, one of them is Venture capital. This study aimed to analyse more deeply the excess benefit gained by layer small enterprise. Tne utilized the alternatives of venture capital financing if compare with other conventional banking financing by measuring the rentability ond cost of capital. The result showed that venture capital had capability for bigger rentability with Rol is 28,83%, ROE 123.40% and COC which lower than banking financing, that is 27,160/o. However banking financing onty established Rol 14.41%, RoE 61.67% and COC which higher that is 27,7%. With the rentability of venture capital which higher than banking financing and also the COC which lower than other financing, so hopefully venture capital is one of the better alternative for financing.
