An experiment was conducted to study the effects of dose inoculum and length fermentation process on the change of their chemical composition as animals feeds. The experiment using designed in Completely Randomned Design, was arranged in 3 x 3 factorial pattern with three replications. The treatments were three dose inoculum ( 3 %, 6%, 9%) and length of fermentation process ( 7 days, 9 days , 11 days). Parameters observed were dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber, lipid and carotenoid contend of corn cob fermentation. The results of experiment showed that no interaction effects (P > 0.05) between dose inoculum and length of fermentation process on dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber, lipid percentage and carotenoid contend of corn cob fermentation. However dose inoculum highly significant (P < 0.01) on dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber, and carotenoid contend of corn cob fermentation. The conclusion of experiment was optimum dose inoculum were 9 % and length of fermentation process were 9 days. Keyword: corn cob, fermentation, Neurospora sp, nutrients.
