Abstract
An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of Lamtoro mini (Desmanthus virgathus) processed with steam pressure on the nutrient ( water, crude fiber and crude protein). Lamtoro mini was autoclaved at 121 C for 15,30 and 45 minute. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance using Completely randomized Design with three treatments and six replicates. Result of the experiment indicated that water, crude protein were not affected (P'>0'05) by steam pressure however crude fiber was highly affected (p<0.01). It concluded that processing lamtoro mini with steam pressure not affected water and crude protein content but decieased crude fiber. The long of steam processing at 45 minute was the best.
