Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the utilization of fermented cassava (cassapro) in diet of laying native chickens. Sixty of laying native chickens was housed into 20 pens and each 5 pens of the hens were fed with one of experimental diets. Four experimental diets were formulated with different levels of fermented cassava (0, 7,5, 15 and 22,5 %). The experiment was last until 8 weeks of egg production. The result showed that egg production was affected (P > 0,05) by treatment. There are not different result in egg weight, yolk color index, HU and shell thickness.
