Abstract

Generally, workers in PT Sernen Padang can be divided into two categories : permanent worker and free-daily labor . Permanent worker is a worker who has permanent work and receives a various facilities from the enterprise. Whereas free-daily labor is a labor who works in the CV's which get a tender from PT Semen Padang. And this research will be focused on the life of free-daily labor. A free-daily labor generally was mentioned Andema. The word Andema is an allusion about inequality payment that they received. An allusion goes as follows, "Andema bare pirang karajo dek awak , pitinya untuk urang" . If a new permanent worker received Rp - 700.000/month, then andema that has worked 10 years by the enterprise, they only received Rp - 300.000 / month. Nevertheless Iabor have not another choice except they must accepted this condition. They can't reject the regulation whuch has made by the enterprise. The manager can easily said: "Please, looked for another work in another p1ace" . Because of a critical situation they can only accepted their destiny. They must think their famiIy.
