Abstract

Heteroptera predator are important arthropods predator that abundance at soybean agroecosystem and have many role to control insects pest population, especially the larvae of Lepidoptera, such as army worm. We do not know about their spesies, abundance dan colonisation at Indonesia soybean agroecosystem, especially at West Sumatera soybean product center. The research was conducted by survey intensively at three soybean production center in West Sumatera, there are Dharmas Raya, West Pasaman and Pesisir Selatan. The soybean acroecosystem were sampled every three weeks as long as soybean development, there five time. The sample unit was a canvas ground cloth. In the soybean agroecosystem production center in West Sunatera were found three arthropods predator, there are Geocoridae, Nabidae and Reduviidae. Geocoridae was more abundance than others. and the population of Reduviidae is lower than Nabidae. All the heteropterans predator have colonisation the soybean agroecosystcm since four weeks after planting until harvesting.
