Abstract

Nowadays, pressure on quality of education service is increase. Hence, higher education management should know about important factors that stakeholders looking at, since quality is defined by stakeholders as the customer of education service. PTS X, one of the private universities in Padang, aims to give high quality of educational service in order to exist in the future. Base on actual facts, the total amount of new registered student decrease rapidly in the past few years. In general, it caused by low quality of educational service in PTS X. In order to overcome the quality problem of PTS X, a research of Educational Total Quality Management has been done to formulate quality improvement program in PTS X. This research conclude that the total quality value of PTS X is quite low, rank 3.4112 (68.22%) of 5. From this research, it is also founded many critical factors that should be improved such as teaching class activity, curriculum relevancy, relationship with university bodies, and rules obedience.
