The experiments were to evaluate level of ammoniated rice straw and concentrate that supplemented with phosphorus and sulphur on digestibility and weight gain of pesisir beef cattle. The treatment were A = 50% Native grass + 50% concentrate (control), B = 30% ammoniated rice straw + 70% concentrate, C = 40% Ammoniated rice straw + 60% concentrate, D = 50% Ammoniated rice straw + 50% concentrate, and E = 70% Ammoniated rice straw + 30% concentrate. The result of trial indicated that digestibility and daily weight gain pesisir beef cattle of 30 – 40% ammoniated rice straw similar with diet A (native grass). It has demonstrated that ammoniated rice straw could replace native grass as roughage of pesisir beef cattle if supplemented with 0.4% phosphor and 0.3% sulfur and amount of diet is 30 – 40% on dry matter.
