Abstract

This research was done in 3 State Own Banks. The purpose of this research is to compare the banks performance using CAMELS and efficiency method which offers an application of non-parametric analytic technique (data envelopment analysis, DEA). This research is quantitative research with comparative descriptive method. The information was collected with documentary technique, from annual report from each bank. CAMELS method is counted by CAR, BDR, NPL, ROA, ROE, BOPO, and LDR. Efficiency method is counted by EFF, P/L, NIM, RDIBA, ROE, and ROA. It is shown that the bank which has the best performance according to CAMELS and Efficiency method is BBRI. Both of CAMELS and efficiency method show the same result in appraise the bank performance.
