Abstract

Lacking of women delegation level in local legistilative assembly is not different with women representative manifestation for the national stage. The difference of regional characteristic does not show the influence to the level of woman delegation to parliament. The problem of woman delegation in local legistilative assembly of West Sumatra province is very determined from the process of recruitment which is carried out in the stage of political party of election participant of 2004. In major the attention and concentration level of political party in West Sumatra to political rights for woman are very insufficient. It can be seen from the position and level of woman legislative candidate at temporary list of legislative member candidate in election of 2004. The problems of woman position marginalization do not only desisted until there, neither in the structure of local legistilative assembly of West Sumatra nor pay attention the woman position Keyword : Marginalization, delegation
