Abstract
The research about measurement of solution concentration method based on light intensity has been performed. In this research three solution : NaoH, cocl2 and NaCl were used as samples, each with three variation of concentration that is 0.2M,0.6M and 1 M. Light intensity was measured with light intensity sensor. As a light source was used mercury vapour light with five different colors, that is yellow, greeq blue, violet and purple. The result shows that solution concentration is in inverse relation with light intensity. It was tried to get a formula relates solution concentration and light intensrty by using polynomial interpolation method. The formulas were not consistent for every light color and solution type. It was found that yellow have lowest average error percentage about 4.07%. The yellow color is the best color to be used as light source.
